Fitting Process

1. Schedule an Appointment
Call us today to book a consultation in our Calgary Shop. If you are located outside the area, please see our online fitting instructions below.

2. Consultation
Having a bespoke suit made with Huey Lam suits is an elevated experience. It starts with a 45-minute consultation in our Calgary showroom with one of our Style Consultants.

3. The Fitting Process
Next, we take your measurements and conduct a body template fitting. We measure each section of your body, cm by cm, to make your suit truly custom. We then adjust measurements where necessary to ensure optimal comfort and ease of movement.

4. 3D Measurement Technology
In addition to manual measurements, we also record your body shape and posture using our state-of-the-art 3D Measurement Scanner. This allows us to precisely capture the shape and dimensions of your physique, ensuring the suit contours your body shape. Using this technology truly sets us apart from other conventional made-to-measure services.

5. Craftsmanship
Upon order confirmation, your suit materials are sourced and sent to our Master Tailor in Vietnam who meticulously analyses the data before cutting the garments. Whether you’ve chosen a 100% wool or a wool blend, their expert hands will transform your fabric into a precision-sculpted suit customized to your build. Your bespoke suit will take 4 weeks to create.

6. The Final Touch
Upon completion, you’ll receive a call for the final fitting, allowing you to make any necessary minor adjustments at no extra cost.

7. Pick Up Your Custom Suit!
A week after your final fitting, you will receive a call to pick up your new custom suit! 

10. Complimentary Alterations!
Once you have received your order, you are eligible for complimentary alterations within six months of the date of purchase. If you live in Calgary, simply bring your suit to the Huey Lam Suits store for your alteration.

Here is our order process:

1. Online Orders
When ordering online, you will receive an email to schedule your online consultation and fitting at checkout.

2. The Online Fitting Process
One of our Style Consultants will guide you through the process of taking proper measurements to ensure your order is made to your body shape.

3. Submitting Photos for Reference
To help our Style Consultants understand your body type and shape for proper fitting, we recommend submitting photos of yourself from the front, back, and side to use as a reference during production. You will be able to submit these photos at checkout or email them separately with your order number in the email subject line.

4. Huey Lam Suits Craftsmanship
“Upon order confirmation, your suit materials are sourced and sent to our Master Tailor in Vietnam who meticulously analyses the data before cutting the garments. Your bespoke suit will take 4-6 weeks to create.

5. Delivery of Your Custom Suit!

Once your garments arrive in Calgary, we will verify the measurements and styles that you have selected before proceeding to ship them to you.

6. Alterations
Alterations on online orders are entitled to a 10% reimbursement of the product to be altered at your local Tailor if your suit does not fit properly. Please review our Complimentary Alterations Policy.
